    Caminito

    Caminito is the most famous pedestrian street in Buenos Aires. It is one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions due to its colorful houses and deep historical and cultural significance. Caminito is located in La Boca, on the banks of the Riachuelo River and just 400 meters from La Bombonera stadium. It is a 150-meter long curved pedestrian walkway where important artistic works can be appreciated.

    Mafalda Statue

    The Mafalda Monument is a sculpture dedicated to the famous character by cartoonist Quino, showing her sitting on a bench. Located a few meters from where Quino lived in San Telmo, a plaque reads 'Here lived Mafalda' in her honor.

    Alberto J. Armando Stadium (La Bombonera)

    Recognized internationally as one of the most emblematic football stadiums, and declared of sporting, tourist, and cultural interest in Buenos Aires. Inaugurated on May 25, 1940, Maradona called it 'The temple of La Boca'. Capacity: 40,000 seated, 57,000 total spectators.

    Avenida de Mayo

    Inspired by Madrid's Gran Vía, Avenida de Mayo is one of Buenos Aires' largest and most important avenues. It runs from Plaza de Mayo, with the Casa Rosada at one end, to the National Congress building at the other. Officially inaugurated in 1894, it offers a journey through the city’s history.

    San Telmo Market

    A large indoor market in San Telmo. While maintaining old stores selling vegetables and meats, it has become a tourist hub with many antique shops. The building also includes stores with street entrances, greengrocers, liquor stores, a restaurant, and two notable bars: 'San Pedro Telmo' and 'La Coruña'.

    Puente de la Mujer

    The Puente de la Mujer, an emblem of Puerto Madero, is Santiago Calatrava's first work in Latin America. It is a rotating pedestrian bridge, one of the largest turning mechanisms in the world, allowing sailboats to pass. It represents a couple dancing tango: the white mast is the man, the curved bridge silhouette the woman.

    Casa Rosada

    A palace facing Plaza de Mayo, seat of the National Government. Built on the site of the Fort of Buenos Aires (1580). Former residence of Spanish viceroys and later national authorities. The current building merges the presidential headquarters and Palacio de Correos.

    Cathedral

    Main headquarters of the Catholic Church in Argentina. The current building is the sixth on this site since Buenos Aires’ second foundation. Its neoclassical structure resembles a Greek temple rather than a traditional cathedral.

    Palermo Rose Garden

    Located inside Parque 3 de Febrero in Palermo, with over 18,000 roses and a surrounding lake. Initially part of Juan Manuel de Rosas' estate, developed by Carlos Thays and finished by Benito Carrasco in 1914. In winter, roses bloom strong, reaching peak development in October.

    Recoleta Cemetery

    Located in the exclusive Recoleta neighborhood. Most visited cemetery in the city due to its mausoleums, including Eva Perón's tomb. Over 90 vaults are declared National Historic Monuments.

    El Ateneo Grand Splendid

    Chosen by The Guardian as the second most important bookstore in the world. Located in a former cinema, it retains its original elegance, frescoed dome, railings, and bar. Basement: children’s books; upper floor: exhibitions.

    Floralis Generica

    A 20-meter high moving sculpture donated by Eduardo Catalano. Made of stainless steel and aluminum, weighing 18 tons. First moving sculpture controlled by hydraulic and photoelectric systems. Inaugurated in 2002, it is a tribute to all flowers.
